Ingredients
White vinegar
Baking soda
Warm water
1 Mixing bowl
1 Soft brush
Procedure
Preparation of the mixture:
In a bowl, mix 1 part white vinegar with 1 part baking soda.
Add enough warm water to create a thick, even paste. The amount of water can vary depending on the number of stains you want to treat.
Application of the mixture:
Apply the mixture to the deodorant stain, covering it completely. You can use a teaspoon or brush to spread the paste evenly over the stain.
Smooth friction:
Using a soft brush, gently rub the mixture onto the stain, making sure to work it into the fabric so that it penetrates the fibers well.
Resting time:
Let the mixture act on the stain for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the ingredients to penetrate the fabric and break down the deodorant residue.
Normal washing:
After the resting time, wash the garment as you normally would in the washing machine or by hand. Use the usual wash cycle and the recommended water temperature for the type of fabric.
Verification of results:
Once the garment is washed, check to see if the deodorant stain is completely gone. If there is still some stain, repeat the process of applying the mixture and washing.
Drying:
Once the stain is gone, dry the garment as you normally would. You can air dry it or in the dryer, depending on the fabric care instructions.
And that’s it! By following these steps, you can effectively remove deodorant stains from your clothes using white vinegar, baking soda, and warm water.
COUNCILS:
Test on an inconspicuous area first: Before applying the mixture to the entire stain, do a small test on a less visible part of the garment to make sure it doesn’t cause discoloration or damage to the fabric.
Treat fresh stains as soon as possible: It’s always easier to remove deodorant stains when they’re fresh. Treat the stain as soon as possible to prevent it from sticking to the fabric.
Use warm water: Warm water helps activate the cleaning ingredients and better penetrate the fibers of the fabric, making it easier to remove the stain.
Rub gently: While it’s important to rub the mixture onto the stain, do so gently to avoid damaging the fabric. A soft brush is ideal for this task.
