Delicious desserts with walnuts super easy to prepare


Today we will see an interesting and delicious recipe to prepare desserts or sweets with walnuts at home. In fact, the times we consume nuts we do it in a simple way or to decorate, but the proposal that we will now see is a secret of our grandmothers.

The nuts will be accompanied by other simple ingredients that we can have in our kitchen, but the combination of all and their preparation make it a super delicious dessert.

First of all, the ingredients that are required:

  • 360 gr. of walnuts (with shells)
  • 200 gr. edeWalnuts (shelled)
  • c/n de Agua
  • 3 tbsp. of Honey
  • 120 gr. of dark chocolate
  • 120 gr. of white chocolate
  • 2 tbsp. shredded coconut

How to prepare

  1. First of all, place the walnuts in a small pot of water and boil them for about 10 minutes.
  2. When the time is up, remove them from the pot and begin to break the shells and keep their insides. We will only reserve about 6 walnuts for decoration.
  3. Next step, once we have them all peeled we are going to take a knife with a rather wide edge to start chopping all the nuts. It’s actually a manual way to grind them well.
  4. Once we have them all chopped, pour them into a bowl and add the tablespoons of grated coconut and honey. Then mix everything and if we want we can use gloves to work better when stirring the ingredients.
  5. When we have everything well mixed, start giving it round shapes, that is, similar to snacks. Reserve.
  6. On the other hand, put a pot in a bain-marie and inside a small glass container to add the white chocolate to melt. Reserve.
  7. Then, a silicone mold is chosen and lightly oiled with the help of a brush.
  8. When the melted chocolate has cooled, transfer it to a piping bag and place a layer on each individual silicone mold that will serve as the base of the dessert.
  9. Next step, place each walnut and honey bite that we set aside. Then, we press a little to get them to come together and let it harden a bit.
  10. Then we melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler, but we cut it into pieces so that it cooks faster.
  11. Again pass the melted dark chocolate once it has cooled to the sleeve and cover each bite on top, remember, form a generous layer to the top of the mold.
  12. Finally, it is unmolded once it is firm and we begin to decorate each one. Let’s use the leftover white chocolate and with the piping bag we give it the shape we like best, such as a flower or something similar. Without forgetting to place each nut in each bite, it will be very tempting without a doubt.
