This method is very simple and accessible even to beginners in gardening. If you have an orchid without roots, don’t throw it away, because there is a solution to bring it back to life. Start by taking an orchid with dried out roots and remove them if they are completely black.

The roots should have a greenish gray tint. If not, remove them as well. You should only keep the base of the plant, which you must carefully clean using scissors. Now proceed to the next step using garlic. Garlic has antibacterial properties and acts as an excellent antiseptic.

Instructions

1. Take a clove of garlic and place it in a bowl. Use a garlic press or mortar to press it. Then add half a liter of water and filter the mixture to remove any residue. Soak a piece of cotton in this garlic solution and gently apply it to all the leaves of the plant.
2. Then take a glass and place the plant in the bottom, pouring in the garlic water until it covers it. Let sit for about 30 minutes. Next, add the terracotta granules to the remaining water, which you will place in the pot. Next, cover the pellets with a soft, highly absorbent material, such as gauze.
3. Now take a bottle and cut it out, leaving only the neck and the bottom. A cut of about 5 centimeters is enough for the neck, while the bottom should be cut about 10 centimeters from the bottom. Take the gauze, squeeze it to remove excess water, then wrap it around the orchid. Carefully insert the gauze into the neck of the bottle from the narrower side. Place the terracotta granules and clean water in the bottom of the bottle.
4. Then close the other end of the bottle. The gauze material will absorb water and keep the base of the plant constantly moist. Place this bottle in a cool place for about 2 weeks, and be sure to mist the leaves every 2 days. Change the water whenever it becomes dirty or decreases in volume. After 2 months, you will start to see results, and you can then transplant the plant when the roots have reached a length of approximately 6 to 7 centimeters.
