Here is a recipe to prepare it:

Ingredients: For the mofongo: 4 green bananas, 4 cloves of garlic, chopped, 1/4 cup of olive oil, Salt to taste. For the creamed shrimp: 500g of shrimp, peeled and deveined, 1 onion, chopped, 2 cloves of garlic, chopped, 1 red pepper, cut into cubes, 1 cup of tomato sauce, 1 cup of heavy cream (cream for cooking), 1 teaspoon of cumin, Salt and pepper to taste, Chopped fresh parsley, to decorate.

Preparation: To make the mofongo, peel the green bananas and cut them into thick pieces. Fry them in a pan with hot olive oil until golden on the outside and tender on the inside. Remove the bananas from the pan and place them in a large mortar or heatproof bowl. Add the minced garlic cloves and a pinch of salt to the mortar or bowl with the fried plantains. Mash the bananas and garlic together until you get a uniform and smooth mixture. Form mofongo balls with wet hands and set aside. To make the creamed shrimp, heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add a little more oil if necessary and add the minced garlic cloves and diced red pepper. Cook until tender. Add the tomato sauce to the pan and cook for a few minutes. Add the heavy cream (cooking cream) and cumin to the pan. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cooked shrimp to the sauce and cook for a few more minutes, making sure they are well coated with the sauce. To serve, place a portion of mofongo in the center of each plate and pour the shrimp sauce over it. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious mofongo with creamed shrimp, a dish full of flavor and tradition!
