Where do cockroaches come from?

Natural solutions to repel them

Luckily for you, there are  simple, natural solutions  that will allow you to repel these unwanted invaders.

Natural repellents

Getting rid of it quickly and without spending a fortune is possible  . Cockroaches will abhor certain odors  , as will other insects such as flies. Therefore, certain foods, essential oils, and blends will keep them away from your home.

Cucumber  is, for example, one of the best cockroach repellents you could find. Cut into slices, cockroaches don’t like this fresh legume at all, and they will quickly move away from it.

Eucalyptus essential oil  also works very well against cockroaches. All you need to do is apply it to sensitive areas by diffusing or leaving drops of oil on a cotton ball near areas where cockroaches might enter.

Chemical-free insecticides

The problem with repellents is that they do just that  , to keep cockroaches away from your home. However, if you already have them at home, you will have to think about getting rid of them. For this, you could obviously fight them with slipper in hand, but these insects are known for their great resistance to everything. Drowning, physical damage, burns, radiation, all seem tenuous for the cockroach  that can survive almost a week after decapitation.

You will then need  a solid insecticide to overcome it  . A relatively simple solution requires water, sugar, and baking soda: 

• First of all you need water, a small amount will be enough depending on use.
• Then mix sugar with this water to make it sweet (and therefore attractive to cockroaches)
• Finally, add the baking soda.
• Place some of these solutions in strategic points of your home

Cockroaches that feed on this sugary liquid will be killed by the baking soda  in the solution. It may take a few hours.

Maintain your home to avoid invasion!

To avoid the invasion, it doesn’t take much! Cockroaches are insects attracted to pleasant odors, food and temperatures. First of all, think about cleaning strategic places.

The kitchen by thoroughly cleaning all the furniture, the lower part of the furniture  where crumbs and food easily accessible to parasites can settle  and the edges of the rubbish bins. Clean cabinets, sinks and floors to avoid sticky and sugary surfaces.

The bathroom must be clean for your hygiene  . Removes traces of toothpaste, makeup and other products. Clean bathrooms as much as possible. Remove hair and dust, ventilate the room to avoid strong humidity.

If you have a laundry room  , keep it clean and sanitary for your clothes and to avoid roaches.
