100% homemade pastry cream

Ingredients :
1 liter of milk
200 g sugar
100 g of flour
1 vanilla pod
4 egg yolks

Preparation:

Mix the egg yolks with the sugar, then beat with a whisk until the mixture turns white

Add flour and mix well with sugar/egg mixture.

Add 1/2 glass of milk to make the mixture more liquid.

Heat the milk. When the milk is lukewarm (after 3-4 minutes) add the egg/flour/sugar/milk mixture.

Add your vanilla bean, then mix with a whisk until it boils.

At this point, your cream will already be quite thick and you can stop cooking.
