Caramelized apple yogurt cake

Ingredients:

220 g flour
250 g caster sugar
30 g butter (+ 20 g for the mould)
2 tablespoons of oil
3 whole eggs
1 packet of baking powder
1 plain yogurt
2 apples
finely grated zest of 1/2 orange

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Peel the apples, remove the seeds and cut them into thin slices. Melt the butter in a pan. Add 100 g of sugar and two spoonfuls of water. Add the apples and caramelize them on both sides. Transfer them to a buttered baking pan. Drizzle the caramel over the apples.

Whisk the eggs with the remaining sugar. Once the mixture is whitened, add the finely grated orange zest and the yogurt. Add the oil, followed by the flour and yeast. Mix well. Pour this mixture over the apples. Bake for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Turn out and serve. The yogurt and caramelized apple cake is ready to be eaten
