The liver’s main role is to filter the blood: it cleans red blood cells, eliminates waste and helps us digest fats. The liver is also responsible for capturing the toxins that enter our bodies when we eat, smoke or take medication.
Cleansing the liver (we also say draining the liver) helps it in its elimination function but it also gives it a little boost to store the vitamins (A, D, K, E) that our body needs.
Let’s review the juices based on natural and organic foods, to drink in the evening before bedtime.
1 – STRAWBERRY WATER
Prepare this delicious detox drink to cleanse the liver. Cut and mix 500 g of strawberries with 1.5 L of water in a bottle. Then place the mixture in the refrigerator overnight before consuming your drink. To eliminate toxins from the liver, you should encourage the consumption of antioxidant nutrients like vitamin C.
In fact, strawberries are rich in vitamin C, which neutralizes free radicals and breaks down toxic substances in the body.In addition, strawberries contain natural acids that help lower blood sugar levels and detoxify the liver.

To prepare it, grate a ginger root and put it in a large glass, and add hot water. Let it cool and then add to the infusion, the juice of half a lemon and a spoonful of honey to sweeten the taste, if you feel the need.
3 – A DETOXIFYING APPLE CINNAMON DRINK
With a few pieces of pumps combined with 2 or 3 cinnamon sticks in water, you get a super effective detox solution. It burns calories but also helps break down and flush out cholesterol crystals.
4 – DANDELION INFUSION
Its name evokes its diuretic action! Also called “dandelion”, dandelion is a depurative and diuretic plant. It has a protective action on the liver as suggested by this study conducted on mice. It is also sometimes used as a laxative to relieve constipation.
How to prepare it: there are commercial preparations made from all parts of the plant, leaves and roots or roots only. The leaves are generally prepared infused ten minutes in water and the roots in decoction then in infusion.
