Homemade crusty bread is fresh, soft bread made from flour, yeast, water, sugar and salt. It is cooked at high temperature for a crispy crust on the outside and a soft crumb on the inside. It can be enjoyed alone or with different ingredients for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 400 g of flour 0
- 200 g of semolina flour
- 400 g lukewarm water
- 20g extra virgin olive oil
- 10 g de sel
- 12 grams of sugar
- 10g brewer’s yeast
Preparation
- Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water with the sugar. Then add the flour 0 and add the semolina. Gradually add the water and also add the oil. Mix well and finally add the salt.
- Form your dough and let it rise until it doubles.
- Then, divide it into two parts and form your bread.
- Leave to rest for 30/40 minutes.
- Then form the cups and brush the water.
- Add the flour and cook at 482°F (250°) for 15 minutes with a pot of hot water. Then remove the pan and leave in the oven for another 15 minutes.
