Ingredients:
50 g honey – 30 ml soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of chopped ginger (optional)
500 g raw shrimps (peeled and deveined if possible)
2 teaspoons of olive oil
spring onion for garnish (optional)
Preparation:
Combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a medium-sized bowl.
Place the shrimp in a large sealed plastic bag or Tupperware, then pour half of the marinade over the shrimp.
Shake or stir well.
Marinate the shrimp in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Cover and chill the remaining marinade for the next step.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium to high heat.
Put the shrimp in the pan and pour in the marinade.
Cook the shrimp on one side until they are no longer pink. This takes about 45 seconds. Then turn them over to the other side.
Pour the remaining marinade over the shrimp and simmer until the shrimp are cooked through, about 1 minute.
Serve the shrimp with the marinade from the pan.
