Croissant Donuts: You Can’t Stop at Just One!

Fluffy croissant donuts… and simply irresistible! They are easy to make and can be enjoyed hot for a decadent breakfast or for a sweet snack outside of main meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • Orange zest
  • 1/2 sel
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8g yeast
  • 7 g baking powder
  • 150ml / 5.3oz lukewarm water
  • 100 g / 0.7 cup semolina
  • 250 g / 1.7 cup flour
  • cooking oil
  • sugar

Preparation

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Add the flour and leave to rise for 10 minutes.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients and knead the dough.
  3. Roll the cake. Cut the donuts. Let rise.
  4. Fry in plenty of oil. Sprinkle the finished donuts with sugar.
