Orange dessert 3 ingredients and 5 minutes: only 95 calories!
The ingredients
You need: 600 milliliters of orange juice (5 or 6 large oranges); 65 grams of corn starch (maizena); two or three tablespoons of honey (but the sweetness of the oranges must be taken into account).
For garnish (if you want) 10 grams of dehydrated coconut can be used.
The preparation
You start by brushing a large glass baking dish (about 25 by 15 centimeters) with olive oil which you then set aside for later.
Once this is done, the orange juice is filtered in a saucepan using a rather narrow mesh strainer, then the honey is added and mixed with a spoon.
After the honey, add the cornstarch, then mix everything with a hand whisk and transfer the saucepan onto the stove, making the contents thicken over medium heat.
Once this is done, the mixture obtained is poured into the baking dish mentioned above (or mold, if you prefer), the one we had brushed at the beginning: it is leveled, let it cool for about ten minutes, then cover it with cling film and leave to cool for two or three hours.
After the three hours, the edges of the dessert are gently detached from the pan and turned over onto a chopping board, after which it can be cut into squares and garnished with coconut.
Enjoy your meal!
