Apple cake without butter. Good, soft and with only 200 calories!

Apple cake without butter. Good, soft and with only 200 calories. An apple condemned Adam and Eve, an apple can save your after dinner or after lunch.

They are good, they are versatile, they prepare the American national dessert. In short, what better ingredient than apples for delicious and irresistible desserts?

But let’s get to our recipe today. It is an apple dessert (precisely) without butter and with only 200 calories per serving. You can indulge yourself even if you’re on a diet!

The ingredients

For six people the necessary ingredients are: 180 grams of flour; 120 milliliters of milk; 50 milliliters of oil; 25 grams of granulated sugar or, alternatively, 10 grams of stevia; 7 grams of baking powder; an Apple; an egg; apricot jam to taste (light type); cherries for garnish; coconut flakes as needed.

The preparation

The first thing is to work the eggs with a hand whisk: this is done after breaking them in a boule and after adding the sugar (or stevia) and the oil.

When the mixture acquires a frothy consistency and a light colour, the milk is also added, after which the whisking starts again.

After a while, always mixing, add the flour a little at a time, suitably sieved, and then the baking powder.

When the ingredients are all incorporated, take six tart molds, grease them with butter and fill each one with two spoonfuls of dough, taking care to level it with a few well-aimed taps.

Once this is done, it’s time to think about the apple: peel it and cut it into slices and arrange four of these slices in the shape of a flower on top of each mould.

At this point all that remains is to place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for twenty-five minutes. After that, when the sweets are golden brown, they are removed from the oven, removed from the molds and then sprinkled with coconut flakes.

The final touch is a cherry or curl of jam in the center of each one, deposited with a sac-à-poche.

Have fun and bon appetit!
