These light biscuits are small rectangles covered in chocolate, with a crunchy and healthy base. No eggs, butter to bind the dough will think the pureed bananas. Oat flakes and bran replace flour, provide plenty of fiber and help the body stay healthy.
They are light and also perfect for coeliacs and lactose intolerant. To perfume everything, cinnamon powder will intervene, which goes well with both chocolate and bananas.

Light chocolate biscuits: ingredients and preparation
For this recipe, get:
- oat flakes 100 gr
- oat bran 100 gr
- salt 1/4 tsp
- ground cinnamon 1 tsp
- baking powder 1 tsp
- orange extract 5 drops
- raisins 50 g
- banana 2 pieces
- seed oil 1 tbsp
- for icing:
- dark chocolate 90 g
- seed oil 3 tbsp
Line the dripping pan with the special paper and preheat the oven to 180°.
Pour the oat flakes and bran into a bowl, mix with a spatula. Then add the salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Mix the powders.
In a bowl, soak the raisins in warm water. Leave it to soak for about ten minutes.
Peel and slice the bananas, then blend them in the kitchen mixer. Once you have obtained a creamy puree, transfer it to the powders and turn to uniform. Drain and squeeze the raisins, dab them well, then insert them together with the orange extract and the seed oil and mix the mixture carefully.

At this point, transfer it to the plate and flatten it with the palms of your hands to create a very large rectangle. Bake for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the ganache. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave, when it is liquid, add 3 tablespoons of oil and mix well.
Take the base out of the oven and cut it into rectangles, dividing it first vertically, then horizontally.
Dip one rectangle at a time into the chocolate preparation, dip it well so that it is completely covered. Then put them to firm up on a wire rack.
Let them harden for at least a quarter of an hour, then plate and serve.
