Meatless cabbage rolls: stuffed like this they are even better!
If you have decided to follow a vegetarian diet, the dish we suggest today may be for you. These are very light and meatless cabbage rolls. We can consider them as a demonstration that healthy dishes can be brought to the table without having to give up on taste.
Let’s see how they prepare.
The ingredients
We need:
ten cabbage leaves
100 g of grated scamorza cheese (any other cheese is also fine)
40 g of Parmesan cheese
three potatoes
a clove of garlic
an onion
just enough olive oil
just enough pepper just
enough salt
The preparation
First of all, clean the cabbage by removing the white part from the bottom, then boil them in salted water (a spoonful of salt is fine) for 4-5 minutes, after which they are drained and left to cool.
Now the leftover cabbage is chopped rather finely, then the potatoes are peeled, diced and both the onion and the garlic clove are chopped.
At this point, pour a little oil into a non-stick pan, add the onion, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, salt, pepper and a little water, then cover the pan and let everything soften.
Once this is done, take the cabbage leaves and stuff them with the vegetables and scamorza cheese, then roll them up and place them on top of a ceramic baking dish that we will have greased with oil. Sprinkle with the leftover scamorza cheese and grated Parmesan and drizzle with a drizzle of oil.
Now let’s cook in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes and then bring it to the table.
Enjoy your meal!
