Is your oven very dirty and full of grease? Normal, after having cooked delicious dishes in the oven! No need to buy Décap’Four! Luckily, my grandmother has a powerful recipe for cleaning her oven when it’s really dirty.
Ingredients
- White vinegar spray
- Baking soda
- Sodium percarbonate
- Very hot water
- Aluminum foil
Preparation
- Start by heating the oven to 100°C for 5 minutes.
- Spray white vinegar on the bottom and walls of the oven.
- Throw a few handfuls of baking soda on top.
- On the baking tray, pour as much bicarbonate as percarbonate to cover the entire surface.
- Pour a glass of very hot water onto the plate.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven.
- Leave the homemade stripper on overnight.
- The next day, rub the plate with a ball of aluminum foil.
- Rinse the bottom, walls of the oven and the plate with a clean sponge and clean water.
