Apple and oatmeal plumcake: without flour, sugar or milk!

With apples, coconut honey and oat flakes we can make a light but also super delicious dessert. Quite easy to prepare, it is also perfect if we have to follow a diet.

Let’s see how.

The ingredients

a teaspoon of baking powder
100 ml of water
300 g of rolled oats
a teaspoon of cinnamon
three apples
the grated rind of an orange
three eggs
a tablespoon of lemon juice
three tablespoons of coconut honey
salt to
taste granulated sugar ( but it is not mandatory) and flaked almonds to garnish

The preparation

We pour the oat flakes into the glass of a blender and work until we obtain a mixture with a sandy consistency. Then we pour the result into a large bowl.

We proceed by removing the peel and the core of the apples and then blend them together with the water. Once the work is done, we pass the pureed apples into the bowl of oats and add the coconut honey and the whole eggs. Then mix with a spatula until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Now add a pinch of salt and cinnamon to the mixture. Continue by pouring the baking powder and lemon juice, after which you start mixing everything again. At a certain point we also add the grated orange zest to the mixture.

After mixing well, we take a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, then we pour the dough we have prepared into it. We level with a spatula and decorate with flaked almonds and granulated sugar (if you are on a diet, you can do without it).

Now all that remains is to put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for thirty-five, forty minutes.

At this point all that remains is to wish you a hearty good appetite!
