The 1 minute cake is a fantastic dessert that is made with a stopwatch in hand.
Very simple and, of course, very quick to prepare, but on condition that you have a food processor (the Thermomix is also fine) and follow these instructions exactly:
- preheat the oven to 180°,
- line a 24 cm mold with the appropriate paper (or butter and sugar it)
- pour all the ingredients into the mixer,
- start it for a minute,
- transfer the dough into the pan,
- bake the cake for 40 minutes,
- check that it is cooked with a toothpick,
- extract it,
- let it cool,
- bite into it!
Easy, right?! But if you don’t want to resort to the mixer, a bowl and a wooden spoon will suffice , only that you will need 5 minutes on the clock to mix everything, not just 1! A little slower, but equally tasty!
What we present to you is the basic version; have fun enriching it according to your creativity: with chocolate chips, chopped hazelnuts, sliced pears, custard, Nutella! In short, give vent to your imagination.
Cake 1 minute: ingredients and preparation
Prepare everything you need on the work table, then get:
- sugar, 250 g
- amaro cocoa , 75g
- softened butter , 130 g
- eggs, 3 whole
- farina, 130 g
- baking powder , 1 heaped tablespoon, dissolved in two fingers of milk
Preheat the oven to 180° and prepare the 24 cm diameter cake tin.
Sift the flour directly into the mixer or bowl.
Insert all the other ingredients and knead them for 1 minute: you will thus obtain a full-bodied and dense dough.
If, on the other hand, you intend to proceed by hand, beat the eggs with the sugar separately, then add the butter first, then the flour and baking powder, finally add the cocoa.
In both cases, when the mixture is uniform, pour it into the mould, then bake for 40 minutes.
Do the toothpick test and take it out of the oven.
Let it cool and decorate it as you prefer, or simply with icing sugar.
If leftover, keep it under the glass bell for a maximum of 4 days.
Enjoy your meal!
