The smart Parisian, is prepared with puff pastry in just 5 minutes!

The good and smart Parisian with puff pastry: a must try!

If you like simple and relatively quick cooking, you’re in the right place. In fact, below you will find the recipe for a delicious rustic pizza which, despite the name (“Parisian”), belongs to the Neapolitan tradition.

It is prepared with a few simple steps and it will only take you a few minutes.

Even the ingredients are few and selected and can give you a rustic dish that in its fragrance can work very well as an excellent appetizer.

Let’s see how it prepares.

The good and smart Parisian with puff pastry: a must try!

The ingredients

Considering that the filling is absolutely to taste (and we would also say ad libitum), the ingredients needed are:

tomato sauce to taste
grated cheese to taste
a roll of rectangular puff pastry
cooked ham to taste

On the pastry we will have to brush a beaten egg

The preparation

The first thing is to spread the puff pastry on a work surface together with the parchment paper that accompanies it.

Once this is done, with a spoon we spread the tomato puree on the pastry, obviously taking care to leave the edge free.

At this point, place the cooked ham slices on one half of the pastry, slightly offsetting each other. Then we sprinkle with grated cheese.

If you’ve noticed, we didn’t cover half of the pastry with the ham, so now we fold it over the other half, to cover the filling.

Now let’s pass the Parisian on a pan and seal the edges of our rustic with our fingers well.

At this point all that remains is to dip a brush into a bowl in which we will have beaten an egg and then pass it over the surface of our excellent Parisian.

As you may have imagined, at this point all we have to do is put it in the oven for a quarter of an hour at 180 degrees.

After that, good work, have fun and above all bon appétit!
