Why do experienced housewives cut paper napkins in half?

To make your cleaning routine easier, there’s no need to resort to fancy solutions or chemical-laden products to brighten up different surfaces in your home. Here’s how to make wipes from paper towels that can be used on most surfaces.

How to make wet wipes with paper towels?

To make domestic tasks easier, cleaning wipes from supermarkets are practical but expensive, not to mention that they contain chemicals that are harmful to the environment. On the other hand, there is an ecological and economical alternative: homemade cleaning wipes! You can choose the natural ingredient of your choice to make them and sanitize your surfaces such as the kitchen, the bathroom or even glass surfaces. So say goodbye to chemical products and make way for natural and ecological ingredients within reach of your home.

To make your cleaning wipes, you will need:

  • 1 roll of paper towel
  • 300 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide
  • 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid
  • 20 drops of essential oil of your choice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Cut the paper towel roll in half then place each half in a container.
  3. Pour the prepared solution onto the paper towel roll then close the container with a lid.
  4. Then store it in your kitchen cupboard or anywhere you put your cleaning products.
  5. Once the paper towels have absorbed the solution (wait 4 hours or overnight), remove the cardboard roll in the middle.
  6. Pull on the inside of the roll then pass the paper through the plastic cover that you will have previously holed in the middle.
  7. Close the container with the lid. So, you can use them as wipes to clean dirt stains on all surfaces in the house.
