Crumbled potatoes, sausage and provola: Easy and tasty!
Today’s recipe is a very simple rustic to prepare, but super tasty: it is a sumptuous crumbled potato, sausage and provola cheese.
Let’s see how it prepares.
The ingredients
We need: 160 grams of flour; 180 grams of provolone; 300 grams of sausage; 40 grams of grated Parmesan; 650 grams of potatoes; two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil; an egg; Salt and Pepper To Taste
The preparation
The first thing is to peel and boil the potatoes. Then they are mashed with a fork and passed into a boule. Then add the egg, the flour, just enough salt and pepper. Followed by the Parmesan, after which everything is mixed with a fork.
Once a dough is obtained, the work is continued with the hands, until the classic dough is obtained.
At this point we equip ourselves with a floured and buttered cake pan and on the bottom we spread two thirds of the above dough, with our hands. The dough should also be adhered to the edges.
Now let’s put the pan aside for a moment and dedicate ourselves to the filling. We put a saucepan on the fire and pour the oil into it. Then we crumble the sausage, let it go a little and then we fix salt and pepper. We mix with a wooden spoon and when the sausage is cooked we transfer it to a bowl.
We let it cool a little and then add the provola, which we will have diced. Let’s mix well.
Now let’s take the cake pan back and distribute the sausage and the provola. Then we take the third of dough that we had set aside and cut it into small pieces that we place on top of our meat and cheese filling.
When we have covered all the provola and sausage with the dough, brush the surface with 20 grams of melted butter. Then we sprinkle with Parmesan and breadcrumbs at will. The final touch can be a little rosemary.
Now all that remains is to bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees.
Enjoy your meal!
