Orange and blueberry dessert: the delicious snack recommended by dieticians. Only 105 calories!

Sweets are hard to resist. They are one of those temptations into which one falls with voluptuousness and abandonment. Then there will be time for regrets, but when you taste them it’s like being in heaven!

Certainly, however, that if one has to follow a diet, being offered desserts on the table can be really frustrating.

Yet there is also a way to get rid of the whim without screwing up the diet. Provided, of course, that you don’t overdo the portions, but this is a rule that always applies.

The dessert that we present to you today in this sense can be very suitable. These are delicious and fragrant squares with an orange flavor and garnished with a wonderful blueberry jam.

One of the strengths of these magnificent sweets is that they do not contain sugar (if you opt for stevia).

Dessert with orange and blueberries: ingredients

For six portions (and about 105 calories per portion), the necessary ingredients are the following: 90 grams of flour for cakes; 35 grams of stevia, or 80 grams of “normal” sugar; three eggs; the grated zest of an orange; 30 grams of unsweetened blueberry jam; a handful of fresh blueberries.

The preparation

The first thing is to break the eggs into a bowl, then add the stevia and mix the two ingredients with a hand or electric whisk.

Then add the orange zest and mix everything with a spatula, adding the flour little by little.

The next step is to take a rectangular pan and line it with parchment paper. Then the prepared mixture is poured on top and two teaspoons of jam are spread over it, after which fresh blueberries are added.

At this point all that remains is to put it in the oven at 200 degrees for ten minutes. Before taking it out of the oven, it is good to check with the classic toothpick test.

Before serving, the dessert should cool completely: at that point, all that remains is to sprinkle with icing sugar (or whatever you like) and then cut into small and delicious squares.

But let’s get to the recipe.

The ingredients

When the vegetables are ready, drain them, wait for them to cool down and then dip them first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.

Now is the time to line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the breaded artichokes on top, which are then sprinkled with a drizzle of oil.

The next step is to put it in the oven at 200 degrees for half an hour.

Enjoy your meal!
