Crispy fried pork knuckles recipe

Ingredients:
1 ½ kg Schweinshaxe(n)
2 onions, peeled and halved
5 cloves garlic, peeled and halved
1 clove(s)
5 bay leaves
1 teaspoon juniper berry(s)
½ TL Ten
2 tsp salt
some pepper, coarser from the mill
Preparation:
Put water in a large pot. Add onions, garlic and the spices.
Heat everything, bring to the boil briefly and put the knuckles in the water, they should be covered with water.
Let it steep for about 90 minutes.
Just before the time is up, preheat the oven to 180-200°C.
Remove the knuckles from the water, drain and roast in the oven for a good hour until crispy.
